Privacy policy

Here's your privacy policy in your brand voice. I kept every legal point, right, and contact detail, so nothing gets lost in the jokes.

Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026

The Short Version

Dara Starr Tucker runs this store and website, including all the content, features, tools, products, and services (we'll call it "the Services"). We're powered by Shopify, which helps us bring you a shopping experience we're proud of.

This policy covers how we collect, use, and share your personal info when you browse, buy, or chat with us. If it ever clashes with our Terms of Service, this policy wins on anything involving your personal info.

By using the Services, you're saying you've read this and you're cool with it. So read it. We made it fun.

What We Collect

"Personal info" means anything that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Anonymous or de-identified info doesn't count. Depending on how you use the Services, where you live, and what the law allows, we may collect:

  • Contact details: name, billing and shipping address, phone number, email
  • Financial info: card and account numbers, payment details, transaction details, payment confirmations
  • Account info: username, password, security questions, preferences and settings
  • Transaction info: what you view, add to your cart or wishlist, buy, return, exchange, or cancel, plus your past orders
  • Communications: anything you send us, like a customer support message
  • Device info: your device, browser, network connection, IP address, and other unique identifiers
  • Usage info: how and when you move around the Services

We may also draw inferences from this info.

Where We Get It

  • Straight from you: when you make an account, shop, message us, or share info any other way
  • Automatically: from your device when you use our site, including through cookies and similar tech
  • Our service providers: the people who handle tech stuff for us
  • Partners and other third parties

What We Do With It

  • Run the show. We use your info to provide the Services, process payments, fulfill orders, remember your preferences, send account notifications, handle shipping, returns, and exchanges, manage your account, let you post reviews, and recommend things you might love. We also use it to make the Services better.
  • Marketing and ads. We send marketing by email, text, or postal mail, and show you ads on our site and elsewhere, including based on what you've bought, added to your cart, or done on the Services.
  • Security and fraud prevention. We verify your account, keep payments safe, and watch for fraud, illegal activity, or anything shady. If you make an account, keep your login safe. Please don't share your username or password with anyone.
  • Talking to you. Customer support, replies, and keeping our relationship strong.
  • Legal stuff. We follow the law, respond to valid legal requests (including from law enforcement or government agencies), take part in litigation or discovery when needed, and enforce our terms and policies.

Who We Share It With

We only share your info for legit reasons, under this policy:

  • Shopify, vendors, and other third parties who work for us on things like IT, payments, analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Business and marketing partners who help us advertise to you. We use Shopify to support personalized ads with third-party services based on your activity across different merchants and websites. Those partners follow their own privacy notices. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to tell us not to share your info for targeted ads. You can opt out here: [link].
  • Anyone you ask or consent to us sharing with, like shipping carriers, social media widgets, or login integrations.
  • Our affiliates and corporate group.
  • Big business or legal moments, like a merger or bankruptcy, legal obligations (subpoenas, search warrants, and similar requests), enforcing our terms or policies, and protecting or defending the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users and others.

Our Relationship with Shopify

Shopify hosts the Services. It collects and processes personal info about how you access and use them so it can provide and improve them for you. What you submit gets sent to Shopify and to third parties that may be in countries other than yours.

We also use some Shopify enhanced features that draw on data from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify itself. For those features, Shopify is responsible for processing your info, including answering your rights requests.

Links to Other Sites

We may link to sites run by other people. We don't control them, so read their privacy and security policies before you dive in. We can't promise their privacy or security, or that what's on them is accurate, complete, or reliable. Stuff you post on public or semi-public spots, like social media, can be seen by others, and we can't control how they or we use it. A link from us isn't an endorsement unless we say it is.

Kids' Data

The Services aren't for kids, and we don't knowingly collect personal info from anyone under the age of majority where you live. If your child sent us their info, contact us and we'll delete it. As of this policy's effective date, we have no actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as the law defines those terms) personal info of anyone under 16.

Security and How Long We Keep Your Info

No security is perfect or impenetrable, and we can't guarantee "perfect security." Info you send us may not be secure in transit, so don't send sensitive or confidential info through unsecure channels.

How long we keep your info depends on things like whether we need it to maintain your account, provide the Services, follow the law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements and policies.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights. They're not absolute, they only apply in certain situations, and sometimes we may legally say no.

  • Access / Know: ask what personal info we hold about you.
  • Delete: ask us to delete the info we keep about you.
  • Correct: ask us to fix inaccurate info.
  • Portability: get a copy of your info and ask us to transfer it to a third party, in certain circumstances and with certain exceptions.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising: depending on where you live, you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your info, or of processing it for targeted ads.  If you visit with the Global Privacy Control signal turned on, depending on where you are, we'll treat it as an opt-out for that device and browser. If we can tie the device to a Shopify account, we'll apply the opt-out to the account too. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org. We don't recognize other "Do Not Track" signals.
  • Communication preferences: unsubscribe from promo emails anytime with the link in the email. We may still send non-promo emails, like account or order updates.

If you're in the UK or European Economic Area, you may also have:

  • Objection and restriction: ask us to stop or restrict processing your info for certain purposes.
  • Withdrawal of consent: where we rely on your consent, you can take it back. That won't affect anything we did with your consent before you withdrew it.

To use any of these rights, go through the Services where indicated or contact us using the details below. For more on how Shopify uses your info and your rights over data it processes, visit privacy.shopify.com/en.

We won't treat you differently for using your rights. We may need to verify your identity first, as the law allows or requires. You can also have an authorized agent make requests for you, but we'll need proof that you authorized them, and we may need to verify your identity with you directly. We'll respond in a timely manner, as the law requires.

Complaints

Not happy with how we handle your info? Tell us using the contact details below. Depending on where you live, you may be able to appeal our decision by contacting us, or file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International Transfers

We may transfer, store, and process your info outside the country where you live. If we move it out of the EEA or the UK, we'll use recognized transfer mechanisms, like the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK's equivalent, unless the destination country has been found to provide an adequate level of protection.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons, or when our practices change. We'll post the new version here, update the "Last updated" date, and give notice where the law requires it.
